New to the medium? We're so glad you're here and boy are you in for a real treat! Podcasts have been around since 2004, yet their growing popularity gives them a relatively new vibe. Podcasts are audio files (sometimes video too) available for subscription and downloaded via web syndication onto computers, MP3 players (remember those?) and mobile devices. You could say it's Internet radio, but much cooler. You can stream or download episodes. There are podcasts for almost any topic you can think of, and because they're on-demand you can watch any assortment of shows and episodes you want. They're great companions for road trips, daily commutes, chores, cooking, or friendly entertainment.
